Happy Tuesday.....

Well, I took the last of my entries into the fair today. They are judging in the morning. So, tomorrow after work I will head out there to see if I got a ribbon or two. I sure hope so. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Here is the scrapbook page I made to enter. These are photos from my trip to S. Korea. I went on a day tour from Seoul to the DMZ and back. It was a very interesting place to see and very scary! Lots of security. They just had the two presidents meet in the JSA just days before I arrived so there was still lots of propaganda all around.

Next is the bouquet of flowers I entered. My category what "fair theme." This years fair is "barn appetit." So, I used my trusty cricut and cut out animal shapes and accents to stick in the flowers. I think it turned out really neat!

Another SAC Layout...

I almost forgot to post this picture. This is a layout I received from SAC last week. I swapped some of my Mom's Cancun vacation photos without her knowing about it. She was very surprised!

I'll be back with some pictures of the things I am entering into the Union County Fair later. Mom and I are both entering some things and will hopefully do well, maybe even better than last year. Stay tuned.

Wow, Where did the weekend go....

Can you believe it? The weekend is already gone. They seem to go faster and faster with every one we have. Or maybe it's just that I seem to have more going on that keeps me busy. We did a lot today for Dad's birthday. Mom got him a locking tool box and we put the wheels on it and loaded it with some new tools. I think he enjoyed it and the day. I got some yummy chocolate cake and ice cream for an after dinner treat. I found the recipe and Mom cooked it from scratch for Dad. Great Team Work!

On Friday, before the weekend got rolling, I received another SAC layout. These are pictures of my Mom picking berries last summer. Oh they were good!

Dad's Birthday...

Here is the card I made for my Dad's birthday. I followed a tutorial from Dawn's blog and really liked how it turned out.

Card Candy...

Here is the card candy I made for a swap. The theme was travel/vacation and I was thinking my little rocket was just perfect. The stamp is from the SU set Pun Fun.

Birthday Challege Goodies...

I participate in the "bday challenge" on the Cricut MB over the past couple of weeks. For five weeks we were given a challenge to create something. Also in our package we were to make an altered item and pick up some birthday themed goodies for our swap partner.

Here is the slide show of the gifts I received:

What is accomplished without internet...

Last night the Internet was down and I was so bummed out! I decided to hit the craft room and see what I could get done. I popped in Vantage Point (great movie) and a crafting I went. I made my cards for my August Card Challenge on the Cricut MB. Our guidelines were to use the color cinnamon and circles (at least one) somewhere on the card. I think I accomplished that with this one:

I have some "card candies" to work on this evening but I am still not forsure what I want to make. Don't know if the creative bug is in me.

Back to the start of the week...

Well, can you believe it? It's Sunday already. It seems like it was just Monday. I love my weekends and would love them it they were just a touch longer. lol

I finished my third layout for July's SAC on the Cricut MB... Take a look:

I am off to see if I can get some more cards made. I have a lot of birthday cards to send in August for so strange reason. Catch you all later!

Happy Wednesday...

Well, we are finally halfway though the week. Thank goodness. Taking Monday off has really messed up my week. I am thinking I still have another day for the week. I guess it will make Friday that much sweeter.

I have been working on my Swap A Crop layouts for the month of July from a swap on the Cricut MB. Thought I would share with you my progress:

Layout #1

For this layout I used my cricut for the title (Mickey font) and the sun (doodlecharms) as well as the tags. I embossed the transparancy with my cuttlebug and then painted the back with making memories paint. The cardstock and "sand" paper are DCWV.

Layout #2

I used DCWV cardstock and some "cat" printed paper (don't know the company). The circles are cut with SU punches and the red boarder is cut with the Fiskars Threading Water Punch. Journalling stamp is Autumn Leaves and cut out with CM circle cutter. Title is cut with my cricut (mickey font)

I still have one more layout to go but they are not due to be mailed to their owners till the end of the month. I have just been in a creating vibe the last couple days. I gotta capture it while I can. LOL

Little Birdie Told Me SU Set

I love this stamp set so much. I haven't had a lot of time to play with it until recently and I really like it. It is a must have for me.

My Best Friends Wedding...

This was a very exciting weekend for me. My best friend got married. It was such a pretty wedding looking out on the Columbia River. this is a picture of the Groom, Josh, Me and Lori.

Gift for a friend...

Here is a post-it note holder I made a few weeks ago for a friends birthday. I haven't given it to her yet but I think she will like it!
I used SU set "So Many Scallops" SU circle and scallop punch.
Go check it out.

Well, I finally did it.....

I thought I would go ahead and give this a try and see how I do with my very own blog. I wanted a way to show my friends that don't live close all the fun things I have been making and doing. So here goes!
