Happy Halloween....

October is almost out the door. Time flies.

My Mom and I made these cute spiders to give to friends after I saw them on a couple different blogs (I will go back and see if I can find a link). I just happened to have the right punches in my collection. I was very excited. I know this may be hard to believe, but I did not have any black paper. I am all out. My Mom had just a few sheets left, perfect amount to make these cuties! Enjoy!

Twisted Chick Creations Blog Candy...

You just have to check out this blog! You don't want to miss out that's for sure.Twisted Chick Creations Flaxychick: Chocolate Covered Snowflakes

Michelle's cards are beautiful... I am a regular viewer just to see what she has new posted. The chocolate card is to die for! What have I told you Lori? Chocolate is HOT!!!! lol

George I think I have it figured out...

Walking away from my blog was probably the best solution. I didn't realize while making changes Tuesday night I deleted even more stuff. Yikes! I think I have it back to normal for the most part. My dear friend Sharon gave me some advice that made since... so I half followed it. lol. I am now taking a couple extra steps but it is very worth it! Hopefully I don't run into any more problems! I hope you are having a wonderful night. I am off to watch Private Practice.
Chow!

Well...

I am at a loss... I can't seem to fix my pictures. I don't know what is going on. I even went into photobucket deleted all of my picture, uploaded it again from my memory card, edited it and when I posted it to my blog it was the same picture I was trying to replace.

I am tired...and tried of messing with it. So bare with me. I have no clue how long it will be till I get it "fixed".

Argh...

My pictures are not working on that last post. I apologize. If you click on the image you can see the entire card. Hopefully I can get it fixed when I get home from work today. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks so much...

I just love the SU in-colors. I can't seem to get enough of them. For this card I used Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango. These two colors go perfectly together as well! I was able to use "Pocket Silhouettes" for this card along with some SU ribbon and of course the card stock. I used a new technique (or at least new to me,) called faux dry embossing, that I saw over at Splitcoaststampers. Now I can't get enough of it. I am even thinking about using it on my next attempt at Artist Trading Cards... We shall see. Enough of the talking already here is the wonderful card I made:

Thanks for looking!

Another week is here...

Well, the weekend is flying by. I can't wait for the holidays to get here so I can enjoy a couple long weekends. Oh how sweet they will be! I have been doing my fair share of crafting these last couple of weeks. Trying to finish some swaps I signed up for. My "to-do" list doesn't seem to be getting any smaller on the swap side. I told myself I am not signing up for another swap till after the new year except for Swap A Crop, I can't miss that one! We will see if I stick to the plan. For some reason my friends keep linking me to some really neat swaps and it makes it even harder to say NO! lol

I am in the process of making a really cute project for my SU club gals, my SU up-line and also some good friends... let's just say my SU exclusive "top note" die is getting its use! I love that die! If you purchase it you will not be sorry. I haven't used my die cutting machine as much as I have in the past couple of weeks as all the time put together since I got it the beginning of January! Crazy!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday! Enjoy the day and I will chat with you later!

My first attempt at Artist Trading Cards...

I joined a swap on the Cricut MB where we had to make 17 identical Christmas themed ATC's. I have seen so many that I liked and well to be honest so many that I thought were a bit over the top for my taste I didn't know where to begin. Somehow I managed to let the creativity flow and came up with the following:

I used SU set So Many Scallops, DCWV card stock and printed paper, SU white craft ink and white embossing powder and last but not least red fiber.

Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!

First attempt at my Christmas cards...

Here it is.. I think this is going to be my Christmas card for this year. I am just in love with the "Snow Swirled" SU stamp set. When I first saw it in the Fall and Winter catalog I had to have it. Every year I do "trees" on my cards so this worked out perfectly! I used SU card stock Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss (both in-colors), SU exclusive Big Shot Die-Top Note, Baja Breeze ink, White craft ink, White embossing powder, SU ticket corner punch, transparency ran though my Cuttle bug.

Halloween is just around the corner....

I got a new Stampin' Up set called "Eat, Drink & Be Scary" and I love it. I decided to play around with it a bit and made some fun Halloween cards. I am a huge purple fan and just love the Halloween paper from DCWV I used. I also used DCWV card stock, SU ribbon, and SU ink. Enjoy!

Layouts I completed for Swap A Crop....

The following are the three layouts I made for other people. I had a lot of fun doing them this month.. wait I have fun every month. This swap is very addicting!

For Fiestafan (I got to use my new "top note" Big Shot die for a hidden journal box and my new photo corner punch that I ordered from Stampin' Up! I also put some fun flock on the sheep to give them a little texture!):

For JeanP (There were a lot of colors in these photos. I tried to pull out a few that would balance the busyness but I think I just made it busier! lol):

For RosaBurns (I wanted to go away from the traditional gold and silver. I decided to make it frilly pink... I used my wonderful punch Vivienne got me for my birthday! I love it.):

Have a great week!

My fantastic layouts I received....

For the month of September we received our photos and had to work off of three different sketches for Swap a Crop. We could adapt them however we wanted.

This first layout I got back from ScrapinRn.... She did a wonderful job with these photos. You may remember seeing them from the pics I posted of my Mom and I picking huckleberries in August. I love how she enlarged the photo of my Mom's berry stained hands!

The following layout I received from RosaBurns... These are photos of the Police/Fire Golf Tournament this spring. The colors are wonderful. She even added some great texture to the golf balls!

My final layout for September I received from Dailyscrapper. These are photos from my trip to S. Korea. Lori, Josh and I made plates at a ceramic shop while we were visiting Jeju-do. They turned out beautiful!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Catch you later!

Busy crafting....

I have been one busy person. Some of my dear friends keep enableing me to sign up for new swaps on the cricut MB. Darn them... okay, I do it to myself but they point out all the fun to me! lol

I finished up my three swap a crop layouts this weekend. Once the recipients receive them I will show you what I made....

I finished this card this evening. I used all SU materials, the set "snow swirled", Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss paper, White craft pad and white embossing powder. Enjoy!
