Guess What.....????

It's official, I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I am so very excited. I have been waiting for a couple months to do this and decided it would be a perfect birthday present! My demo kit should be arriving right around my birthday and I promise I am not opening it till then! I'll be back later!

My third August SAC Layout...

I received my last layout for August's SAC. I really like how it turned out. Our organizer, Stephanie, just posted the "rules" for the next round in September. We have to follow one of three sketches she showed us. It should be fun. I have mocked some sketches in the past with okay results, in fact one of the layouts I made for August SAC I took from a sketch. I will have to see if I can find the sketch and post it with the finished layout this weekend. Gotta put that on my to-do list! Anyway, here is that third layout:

Kristin made this layout for me. They are pictures from out employee banquet '08. We had a really good time. Kristin added lots of stickles and her embellishments are super... pool ball and frosty mug! Love them.

I am off to bed. Hope everyone had a good day. I am looking forward to the long weekend. But, I will be back before then... tomorrow I will be sharing some exciting news so stay tuned.....

Second August SAC Layout...

I received my second layout for the month from the swap I am involved in on the Cricut MB. Did I ever tell you how much I love this swap? Well, I do. It's the only way I get any scrapping done! LOL Anyway, this layout is of the flag burning ceremony that was held at my Fire Department. The Daughters of the American Revolution were the ones who collected the flags and then burned them with the Firefighters help. It was really neat to watch.

Happy Sunday...

Wow, the days fly! Mom and I picked huckleberries today! Yum, yum! We only went for a couple of hours and I think we got enough to freeze a couple of quart bags. I am very excited because our stash from last year is getting very low and I am stingy with my huckleberries. I picked with some family friends earlier in the week and I think seeing the ones I picked made Mom want to go again. Today was only my second time this season but it sounds like we are going to go up at least once over Labor Day weekend. Yeah!

The hands to prove it...

Hot, hot, hot....

Wow, it's hot here! I don't like it this warm. Hopefully it cools off really soon. Low 80's would be perfect!

In Saturdays mail I got my first August SAC layout. I think it turned out really neat. The gal making it for me did a good job. They are pics from my trip to S. Korea. Lori and I took some pictures out in front of Cheong Wa Dae, or the Blue House in English. Here it is:

I didn't get any crafting done Saturday but I did manage to hang up my new punch rack with my Mom's help. It's going to work out perfectly!

I am off to flip through the pages of my Stampin' Up catty to see what I want when I become a demo and try to stay cool!

Happy crafting!

Happy almost Friday...

Wow, this week flew by. I can't believe it. This is a little project I was trying out, because I think I am going to make it for my Christmas gifts this year (and also a bday gift for one of my bday club girls!) Just got to find the perfect paper now. Don't want to make it seasonal so holiday paper is out, but that still leaves so much to choose from. Might be able to thin out my paper collection a bit but then I will just buy more to replace it. lol

My best friend went back down to Southern Oregon (HI Lori!!!) and found a great job! I am very excited for her. She is still a long ways away but still an Oregonian! This just means we have lots of trips to Portland to meet for a great concert, shopping and of course scrapping!

I have been oh so excited lately, I am signing up to be a Stampin' Up demo!!! I am not doing it until the end of the month (feels so far away) but I need to wait till payday. I have chatted with my future up line, Sharon, a lot already and she is making me feel really comfortable. I can't wait to start a club (let me know if any of you are interested and I will get you the details) and start holding workshops. I will let you all know as soon as it is official!

Above is the picture of my friends at my foot party last Friday. (thanks gals for coming!)Boy, we had a lot of fun! I love to pamper myself and I don't think we take the time to do it enough.

Last July SAC layout....

Middle of last week I got my final layout from SAC. I love it. I think the gal scrapping for me did a wonderful job. Thanks Laura! When I looked at the pictures before submitting them I had an idea in mind for them and what I got back was nothing like it. But, that is what I love. Doing these swaps gets you out of your funk. You get some awesome pages back and get to scrap some subject you may have never scrapped before. Love it.

Last night was my Body Shop foot fun party. A few of my girls came over and we soaked our feet had some drinks and munchies. It was relaxing. And amazing enough the rain held off during the party. Thank you everyone for crossing your fingers. I'll be back later with a pic.

I am off to take a nap and get ready for the next Moonlight tourney baseball game. My younger brother and my Bff's husband are playing on the same team. We are having a lot of fun watching them!

Monday yeah....

Hey everyone. Happy Monday. Looking back the past week has been super busy. It's been almost a week since I posted last. Crazy. The fair is over with. I went Sunday and picked up my entries and my $$$. I made $7.00. Can you believe it? Took home two blue ribbons and one red. Not bad. Saturday was the firefighters "fill the boot" drive fro MDA. It was hot out but not as bad as it could have been. Thank goodness. I haven't heard how much our department raised this year but I emptied my boot a couple of times! Here is a picture of my brother, Tad and I.
