Happy Birthday to My Little Brother.....

Today is Tad's 21st birthday. I can't believe he is that old! Mom and I met him at midnight so she could by him his first "legal" beer. I thought that was really special. He looked like he was having a lot of fun. However, I don't think he was really interested in having his Mom and sister there for the whole event. So, we went back home. I have yet to see him this morning. I am betting he will not show up until after noon. lol. I am thinking lots of noise makers are in order for the day!

Here is the card I made him for his birthday. I thought about buying a card for about a minute while I was at the store and I couldn't find a single "21st birthday" card. I couldn't believe it. There was no other choice but to make one... good excuse for me to make one too!

Well, I am off to see if I can get some layouts done for my swap before Tad shows up. Wish me luck!

Tuesday is here again....

Well I made it through Tuesday. I still think I need to take a day off this week. I got an email from my friend Anne that the wonderful scrap store she told me about in Hermiston is closing this Saturday! NOOOOOO! I can't believe it. The store is so beautiful. It just makes me want to scrap or shop every time I walk in. I think a road trip to Hermiston is in order. Maybe they will have some sales. Keep your fingers crossed!

I still have openings in my second Stampin' Up! Club. This will be the last club for this time period so if your interested you better sign up before it's too late! I sent out a new catalog survival kit to my first group and most of them have received them by now (Anne and Diana yours will be on the way this week!). So here is what they look like:

I had a lot of fun making them and I hope the ladies in the club enjoy them as well.

I also have two new cards to show you. I am really impressed with how they turned out. Let me know what you think.

Hope you all have a good night. See you later this week.

Birthday excitement...

All I can say is, "WOW!" I had a great birthday. I have some very special friends that joined me in celebrating and it made it worth it to turn another year older. When I got to work two of my friends had my office all decorated and full of confetti! I still have it all over the place. Then I got an orchid plant from my younger brother (I have been wanting one of these for my office for awhile) and flowers from the guys at work.

My bday friends treated so very special. I feel loved!!! I got so many new things to try I don't know where to start. My parents spoiled me which I love. My Dad gave me his laptop!!! Wowzers! I have been using it with the Cricut software so I have had it for awhile. He asked for it back the other day and when I opened my presents there it was! I am still jumping for joy! I can't believe I have my very own laptop. My older brother got me a really beautiful necklace. I plan on wearing it next week.

So now the weekend is here and I have to clean. But the birthday fun was great. Thank you to everyone who made it so very special for me!

Are you interested in a Stampin' Up! Club???

Well this is the time…I am starting a Stampin' Up! Club. It will begin in October (the details to follow). If you are interested in joining in on all the fun send me an email.

How does the Stampin’ Up! Club work?
Summary:
- Commitment Time: 10 months (This is a ten month commitment, only serious members please)
- Minimum Purchase/Month: $15 +10% shipping from SU and $6.50 (shipping to you, delivery confirmation and Paypal fees)
- 1 Hostess Month Guaranteed (Minimum Level One Hostess Set + Free Merchandise)
- Entry into monthly drawing for a free gift from me.
- Occasional Demonstrator Specials.

More Detail:
1. There are 10 members in each club.

2. Each member commits to spending $15 in merchandise each month plus shipping-(10% of merchandise total).

3. Normally Stampin’ Up! sends the packages directly to the hostess, but in this hostess group I will have them shipped to me and then I will send the packages out to everyone each month. The cost of shipping the package out to you will be and additional $6.50 each month and includes delivery confirmation. Yes, some months will be cheaper and some months will be more expensive to ship to you but this provides an amount you can expect to pay each month and will also cover paypal fees.)

4. Each member gets to be a "hostess" during their assigned month (Hostesses will be chosen at random to start the club) and receives a free level 1 hostess set and at least $15 in free merchandise at a minimum based on the club total for the month. I also encourage you to get additional outside orders during your hostess month to boost your sales & possibly give you a higher level hostess set & additional money to spend!

5. In addition to receiving the hostess benefits each member will also receive the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog (fall and winter now and spring and summer when it is released) I will also be having a monthly drawing for a free gift from me as well as occasional Demonstrator specials.

6. The club will begin in October & last until July 2009. All orders need to be emailed to me by the 10th of the month. You will be invoiced through Paypal and payment must be made within 2 days of invoice being sent.

Night!

This week is flying by...

I can't believe tomorrow is Thursday. The weekend will be here before we know it. I already have a list started of what I need to do and it's not small.

The last couple of days I have been working on a card for a Halloween challenge on this blog. You should hop on over there and look at the guidelines and enter yourself, you could win a Halloween stamp set from Stampin' Up! Here is the card I made for the challenge (it's a pop up card):

Last Wednesday's tutorial on Splitcoaststampers was a free standing pop-up card. Look here at the instructions and try your hand at one.

Monday is here again...

I am loving having an extra day off this weekend. I could get used to three-day weekends that is for sure! I have been super busy doing house stuff and trying to stay warm. It cooled off here and the wind is chilly. I plan on spending some time in my scrap room today. Need to get a Halloween card done for a challenge. I will post it for you to see when I am done!

This following is the layout I made Rosa for the August SAC. I just love my threading water punch!

Here is the layout I made for Karen. I got to add a bunch of skittles to the layout. That was the first time I really used a bunch of them. They are a nice embellishment.

Here is the layout I made for Thedailyscrapper on the Cricut MB. I really like how it turned out. I used Embrace Life for the yellow flowers, which went perfectly with the background paper I selected out of my stash.

Have a great day and a wonderful week!
